Kodak Master View 8×10 Replacement Tripod Socket

Replace one of the weak points of the Kodak Master View 8×10 with a direct-fit brass tripod socket from S.K. Grimes.

The original Kodak socket features a large chamfer that leaves only one or two threads engaged with the tripod screw. While adequate when new, this limited engagement can reduce stability and increase wear over time, especially with the weight of a fully equipped 8×10 camera.

Our replacement socket is precision machined from brass, finished to complement the original hardware, and engineered to maximize usable thread engagement while maintaining the factory appearance. Installation is straightforward and requires no modification to the camera.
